4LUP is an independent publication covering artificial intelligence: model releases, research, tooling, funding and policy. We track what actually shipped and what it changes for the people building with these systems.
What we cover
New models and capability updates from the major labs, open-weight releases, developer tooling and agent frameworks, benchmarks and evaluation, AI regulation, and the funding that moves the field. Our category pages group the coverage by product and vendor.
How our articles are produced
4LUP is a small operation. Our newsroom workflow is automated: an in-house system monitors primary sources — research blogs, model cards, release notes, papers and reputable technology press — identifies developing stories, and produces original write-ups with the assistance of large language models. Articles are not copied or paraphrased from a single source; each one is written from the underlying facts.
Automated writing can be wrong. We publish this disclosure on every relevant page because we think readers are entitled to know how the text in front of them was made, and because we would rather be corrected than trusted blindly. If you find an error, tell us and we will fix it.
Editorial standards
- We link to and name the primary source of a claim wherever one exists.
- We do not publish sponsored content disguised as editorial.
- Corrections are made on the original article, not quietly deleted.
- Images are either produced in-house or licensed for free commercial use.
